Quick Chicken Parmesan



A quick and easy chicken Parmesan recipe that's perfect for busy weeknights. Crispy breaded chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Put breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl

Mix them together

First, coat each chicken breast in beaten eggs

Then, cover it with the breadcrumb mixture and press it down gently to stick

Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat

It will take about 34 minutes on each side for the chicken breasts to turn golden brown after you add them

Put the chicken in a baking dish

Put mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on top of each breast

It should be baked in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chicken is done and the cheese is melted and bubbly

If you want, you can serve it hot and top it with fresh basil
